Okay, so its the Omega Forum. We all love them and own far more of them than we'll admit to. But! I've notice we all seem to have a Seiko somewhere in our pasts, the hundred dollar diver, that skeleton in the closet, the fat girl friend that was so much fun when you were 17 but that you've since hidden the photos of, the horrible first car or motorcycle you won't ever admit to now..........

So out with 'em guys. Drag them out and snap a picture.

Lets see your Seikos!

Notice you never throw out the photo of that old girl friend..........
Just sold the Seiko I had in the RAF for flying training. The money is going towards either an X-33, a Seamaster 300, or *possibly* the soon to be released 300M diver (although I am struggling a bit with the pointless Helium valve).

This is my freshly purchased first Seiko (and quartz) watch that was mainly bought for the Ichizawa canvas strap that came with it which, as far as I know, is only able to be purchased from a single store in Japan. To be honest, there wasn't any prior research done about the watch but it has very quickly grown on me. It wears very comfortably, looks good IMHO and you just don't have to worry about at all -- officially the new daily beater.

bought it for the strap?! I thought I was the only one nutty enough to do that. I bought a nice Bulova USAF A17A cheap because it had the correct molded plastic strap for my WW2 Elgin diver on it. The Bulova is a keeper and I never use the strap because its so damned uncomfortable!

damn nice Seiko you got out of the deal anyway!

Does the strap live up to Nick Hacko’s spiel?

SSC017, perfect beater for the gym etc.. I have no idea when I lost the lume pip, I was helping with a move and at the end of the day, “poof!” It was gone.
