I have never owned a Seiko before, but this dive watch popped up at my watchmakers. It’s 2 years old and NOS. he’s asking $525. I like the purposeful look, Any thoughts on it?

Seems a bit high for a padi turtle.
New for $375... and that was the first hit.

All padi are that Version. And honestly it’s not a 200 dolllar difference between Malay and Nipon mfg less then 30 bucks normally.
Thanks very much for your input. I guess I’ll make him an offer.
if u are wondering why the price is a bit HIGHER than a new PADI with a movement made in singapore or malaysia ... it is because this one has a movement MADE IN JAPAN ... they are always sold by their owners @ a higher price ... they are more desirable to serious Seiko FANATICS
Guys, there ARE THREE VERSIONS of the PADI TURTLE dial. Those that claim "MADE IN JAPAN" on the dial, MOV'T JAPAN, and those that don't state where it was made (and only have the caliber).
1) MOV'T JAPAN - like mine
2) MADE IN JAPAN - not mine
3) and NO JAPAN nor Malaysia
