Got a call from the spa today that my Seiko 7006 was ready. Couldn't get there fast enough. It's been almost a month. Purchased this as a non-runner, missing the case back. When it arrived not only was the case back missing, so were the movement ring and gasket. Both parts needed to secure the movement in place. I sourced a donor watch for the case ring and case back. Same reference number and the date code is from the same era. Here as it arrived from the seller: . An here are my twin 7006-800X's re-united:
Looneytoons, I put an offer for a Seikomatic 8305-9010. Do you have someone can recommend for servicing? I’d like to eventually get a King Seiko, but want to dip my toes before jumping in. Regards, Ignacio
Thanks for replying. I’m in Maryland, DC area. My local watchmaker disappointed me with an vintage Omega, not being able to fix the day change. I’ve had good luck with Vintage Watch Restoration in Phoenix with my wife’s vintage Ladymatic and they’re working on the aforesaid Omega. I’m just not sure they do Sekos.
