Hey!

2 questions for you. First who did your service? Second, is the bezel ratcheting or friction?

I'm guessing you got that off of eBay about 5 months ago. I recognize the hands with the perfect bezel. This is the one I got off of eBay at the same time.

Hi, yes I bought it about 5 months ago, it was supposed to be serviced, but my timegrapher disagreed strongly... Duncan Hewitt did the service, I have a great experience with him. Bezel is friction only. Regards, Laurent

Result of my first foray into Yahoo Japan auction site
Seiko 6309 729A Feb 1987
Changed the strap as it was grim
It has worked for a living but my watchmaker says the movement is in good nick and after its service it is running great
All in it cost me $114 plus service cost so I am going to play again on Yahoo

I'm still wearing this as I've only just decided to grow up!

I'm looking to upgrade to an older Seamaster, but this old Seiko has never let me down!

Two generations of Blue Seiko Fives (my grandfathers and mine). Both reliable beaters. And then another cool chunky one with a lovely dial

It's a whole lotta watch for your dollar. I'm kind of slightly.... ok completely obsessed. I ordered through Jomashop's EBay store and it was like $150 shipped. Totally worth it
