I've one of these yella jobs. (T732-6k19) Talk about others noticing/saying something about a watch...not like a fist pump 'n "yeah Seiko!" thing, it's more like what's that big yellow big chunk of a watch ya got there Bri? lol. I like it, and take it swimming all the time without issue, but nothing deeper than 12 feet. (hair shy of 4 meters for those)
umm, and one of these kinda cheapish wannabie a rolex jobs I got for 25 years at work. After a while I found I wasn't a big fan of gold and silver colour together. 'n "look at me" bezel is kinda weird for me.
You give them 25 years and they give you a Seiko . At least there isn't a company logo on the dial. Maybe you work for a Japanese company.....like Seiko?
TEAM POGUE And I still have the watch that got me into all of this in the first place. SNK809. It still gets worn at least one day per week.
After seeing this post, I realized the old Sea horse must be lonely so I just picked this up last week.
There is a logo on the back with 25 years engraved. (an international chemical company I retired from; 39 years)
Thanks for jogging my memory Had this one box and paper sitting around for a few years. Think I have worn it once. I bought it to go overseas with work once and ended up forgetting it. Still got it as i just dug it out.
Bought this new in 1988 for myself. It's never needed repair, except a few bucks every couple of years to change the battery. Loved it in 88, and still have a fond spot for it now. Needs a new band, think I will get on that.
Hi folk's, first post so pleased to meet you! Just received a package from the far east, I'm in the UK, with a KS in it's depths . Please check out the photos and feel free to add any comments , I'm here to learn, and why this is a great forum! In the wild. Got to change that strap! Also would like a service, does anyone know of any good watch makers in the UK? Thanks, Andy
