Here's a run-down of mine - some more 'worthy' than others!

Manual winding 6602-8050 from November 1970, on a Seiko canvas strap

The under appreciated SKX013 (mid sized diver), which was my very first Seiko

Standard SKX009

1967 Sea Horse Automatic that I sometimes wish I hadn't sold

SKX031 10 Bar, not a very popular model -- perhaps it looks too much like a Rolex?

1969 Bellmatic 4006 -- alarm still works too!

Blue 7002 with a dubious dial

Heavily modified 7002 -- not usually my cup of tea but I find the dial completely mesmerising!!

Rarely gets any wrist time, I don't even remember the last time I wore it. Poor thing.

Totally agree except for the "almost".
I don't often wear a watch but can't take my eyes off of them.

That JLC is like pornography.

You may be hooked, I have been for a few years!
JLC is nice but I love the arty dials of Vacheron Constantine. Pure watch porn

Formally they say they only hold parts for 10 years, and there is a lot of chat on the interweb about the difficulty of finding parts for older watches, (particularly the hi-beat watches which require a relatively strong mainspring) but it is mostly anecdotal as far as I can see.

I'm going to talk to Seiko next week about servicing my 1969 GS -- I'll let you know what they say.

Just heard back from Seiko -- they say they have to send the watch back to Japan and that it will cost AU$800 or so + parts to service my 1969 4520....

This manual wind Sea horse is the only Seiko I have left. My dad sent it to me for Christmas 1967, when he was in Viet Nam. I had it serviced and replaced the cracked crystal, last year; it looks brand new.

Hi here is my seiko 5 watch and I think are great...
I bought my son that exact model for Christmas ... A good start for his first automatic watch. He wears it constantly - a future WIS in the making!

Here's mine. Been wearing it the entire week. A bit of a sleeper job: NE15B movement compatible crown stem assembly, Sapphire double dome crystal (soon to be replaced with a flat sapphire), Murphy bezel with stock 009 insert. Drilled lugs 1.2mm for big fat spring-bars and straight end-link oyster for that vintagy feel. Shite cellular phone camera pic, sorry:

I'm thinking about picking up a SBDC-003 but the 20mm bracelet looks a little narrow for a watch of this size. Love the blue dial and bezel.
