So going back and forth on a Seiko Turtle. Love my Speedy, but during those cold rainy/snowy days I'd rather take more of a beater around. Not sure if works on my wrist which is roughly 6.25"?

In my opinion, what makes a watch "fit" a particular wrist size/shape is more to do with the lug to lug distance and the curvature of the lugs than the case diameter.

In this instance, it looks like it wears just fine

I have the PADI (SRPA21)variant and the same wrist size and find it works fine and looks smaller from other people’s point of view than it feels/looks from the wearers point of view

@Sidrox25 and @Jwit
I think what helps with the Turtle is that although you both have dainty, Disney-princess sized wrists (sorry, couldn't resist!) you have manly, Brawny Man sized hands so the large case doesn't completely dominate. It works for both from this idiots perspective, but to be fair the only opinion that counts is your own. If you're comfortable wearing it, then go for it.

Looks great! The Turtle is one of those watches that somehow wears wonderfully on basically any wrist IMO.

Absolutely agree. Lug to lug size has most to say but it is a large piece. I had one and found if too large. Not for my wrist just for my taste. Just as I did the SXK007. My wrist is 7.25 inches

Really you got rid of it? It seems to fit you perfectly though.

it is pretty good sized on my 6 1/2 inch wrist but it's very comfortable for all day:

Ah, yea all my watches are 20mm so I would hate to buy a whole new set of straps for a 22mm watch haha.

These pictures make me want to go and just buy one! Great shots.

I believe that whether or not a man can "pull off" a certain watch has more to do with hand shape and size than actual wrist circumference.

Basically, if you have man hands, you can wear any watch.

You know what they say: BIG HANDS...(big gloves) amirite?!?!

2nd thought: most new collectors should practice with Seiko before playing with Swiss.

I have a 6-1/2" wrist and love wearing the SRPA21. It looks great, feels great.

ToxicNATOs sells a 22mm strap that matches the dial colour (of the SRPA21) very well.

I have debated the same thing many times! I still want a turtle, but initally opted for the SKX013. It's the 38mm version of the more popular SKX007. For a small wrist, I am truly in love with it. Still won't stop me from getting a turtle eventually 😀

I've got a 6.3" wrist, and the Seiko PADI works fine on me. I'm sure it'll wear fine on you too!

the 013 is a real gem, one of the best diver values around.
