Shouldn't be a problem for any watchmaker to fix.

I had a crown fall off and it was no big deal getting a new one put on. The hard part was finding it..... which I didn't!

How many weeks does it usually take to fix

That would depend on where you take it any why the crown came off in the first place.

pictures?

I didn't take one
But basically the crown came off and the stem was there with a spring still sticking in the watch

I don't think the crown came off the stem - I think the crown has failed and come apart. That would be the only way a spring would be visible.

This will likely need a new crown, so unless the watchmaker happens to have one in stock, the 5-10 minute estimate is out the window...

Ugh and I take it that it will take forever

Take it to a watchmaker with a parts account, and it could be fixed in a couple of days.

Well this guy has had it since yesterday so we will see what happens
It has a one year warranty through the buyer but by the time I ship back to Canada it gonna be a pretty penny
