I have an Option to buy a Seamaster 2531.80, however the bracelet has ‘made in France’ on the clasp and the end links look ugly. Anyone with one of these verify that it’s good, bad or indifferent?

The Omega symbol in the first pic looks odd

I think that maybe because it’s been quite heavily polished.

I own a very early 90s Bond Chronograph in titanium and the bracelet is also made in France. It was authenticated by Omega and for all it is worth it is one of the best bracelet on the SMPs i have (i own 4), it feels solid and after 3 decades it is still bulletproof and being Titanium make it all the nicer.

We have bought numerous heavily used Bonds in the Philippines over the years, both titanium and steel, and many had the French made markings on the bracelets and don't recall any issues with them at all. I think those watch "buyer's guides" should be taken with a grain of salt.

I’m more concerned about the end links. They look aftermarket.
