Seamaster Apnea - any owners on OF?

I'm a medic and in our circles the term apnea relates to loss of, or absence of breath.

A cool narrative behind the watch and I applaud Omega for trying something different with this line. Unfortunately, it completely fell flat on its face! But this means the models can be picked up at a good price.

After a bit of negotiation, and very helpful advice from @tyrantlizardrex, I've pulled the trigger on one that was up for sale on fleabay.

Will post some pics and thoughts when it arrives next week 馃榾

I love using mine as a rest interval timer for weight training!

Quick review:
1) It is a tank - pretty tall on the wrist.
2) yes, the name! It's terrible!
3) it's incredibly legible. In its limited capacity, perhaps the most legible chronograph around.

Haha, I do actually need another link or maybe a rubber strap... Every now and then, after a heavy set of deadlifts, I need the wetsuit extension in order to slip it off my hand.

I thought OP meant aqua terra. I'm so used to blaming auto correct.

So, the apnea arrived on Sat and, after sizing the bracelet had it on ever since.

Initial thoughts are it's a beautful piece and despite being chunky, surprisingly comfortable on the wrist. Really happy with the bracelet fit on this, which is just luck I guess.

Stunning silver dial and love the red accents. Ordered some zealande straps to try out also.
Have tried it on the nato and this also wears well.

Very happy with the purchase so far 馃榾....... May pick up the black variant of the opportunity presents

Really cool watch, regardless of its name.

The word scuba is an acronym for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. We older guys all learned that watching Jacques Cousteau as kids!

Thanks mate. The great thing about watches is the variety out there caters for all tastes... No matter how niche!

Lol, that's funny. I was just thinking that the silver dial looks pretty sharp. The grass is always greener on the other side, I suppose.

For the Zealande strap, what model/size did you pick? I've been meaning to get a rubber strap for mine.
