Here are my two.

PO GMT & the little white guy. I'm in the No camp of the SMP bracelet divide, so a grey nato it is.

Up until a week ago, I faced a similar decision: the new Seamaster 300 in steel, or the PO…. Both now have the 8900 series movement which I prefer for its quick hour setting when traveling (do I look forward to international travel again…).
My OB had me try on the new SM 300, love it’s dial, hands, movement, size, but a bit less the bracelet and clasp (not a fan of polished bracelet links that I only end up scratching up).

And the winner is, for me at least: a lovely (albeit weighty) PO GMT, with the Orca bezel, graces my wrist now. I do have a flair for GMT complications
Oooooh my decision is made I have smp 300 and was thinking of the PO GMT oreo stunning

Owned a black 300 for four years switched out the bracelet for Omega black rubber and loved it. Got visited by the Planet Ocean fairy and. Much easier to operate the bezel. Really like the caliber, dual barrels, and the deployment buckle. Came on rubber orange and black strap and have since changed to the black alligator over rubber strap with the deployment buckle. Most accurate watch I have ever owned. I don't notice any difference weight wise between the two watches. Took it in July to St. Martin for a proper baptism.

I’m thinking of getting one of the B&W NATOs, anyone tried one?
I just got the grey and black from omega best on the market soft and smooth on the skin

Not sure if anyone did mention that time is not always that easy to read time on Seamaster 300M because of those 'skeleton' hands. On the Planet Ocean time is much more readable and you do it way more quicker than on a 300M.

Like others have said, the bracelet on 300M is not the most well designed. For me it looks like a bracelet not idealistic for younger people or let's just say that it's more fit for persons +60 years of age....no pun intended 😗

I would prefer and take a Planet Ocean any day......

Considering the OP has a Sub and doesn't have a Sea Dweller or other "heavy diver", my vote would be the PO.

Here's to hoping a thinner redesign of the PO is forthcoming!!

I went for the 300M after trying both on. Was my first watch and PO felt heavy and huge. A year in and probably wouldn’t notice the difference now, after getting used to the heft of a proper watch.

incidentally, I hit my Orange fix by grabbing the Aquaracer recently, so can totally understand the above suggestion.
