··yoloHello friends, recently I bought a very beautiful 165.024, the dial is perfect, the bezel is good without cracking. However, I realised the sweeping hand has been repaired/repainted before. Intuitively, one of the options for me is to purchase an original sweeping hand, and then I found something very interesting, and I don't know whether this topic has been discussed before.
The center of my sweeping hand is flat:
While I found the modern replacement or service hand has a nipple, like this Watchco version:
This is not conclusive, because I still find some vintage 165.024s equipped with sweeping hands that have nipples and the hand is coherent with the overall condition of the watch.
So I want to hear more from the experts in the forum. Thank you!
