·Purely for my own edification, I'd like to know what folks here think about this 1950s Seamaster that recently sold for US$2000 on everyone's favorite watch-and-lifestyle website.
That minute hand stretching way beyond the hashmarks, that subseconds dial meaninglessly sweeping over the same track—did Omega design and produce this dial? I'm hardly an expert, but I haven't seen a pre-1970s Omega design with this let's say esthetic. Does that domed crown go with this watch? Would anything go with this?
