路I bought a Seamaster at auction without seeing the movement. I think it looks fine externally, given my limited knowledge. I opened it up, though, and I'm concerned about the movement. It looks brand new. Movement serial number is a 13.
It seems to match the caliber .353's I've seen pictures of, but it's as shiny as a new penny.
I'm new to the forum and vintage watches, but the knowledge here has been invaluable. Thank you for any insight!
Interestingly, this came with what is purported to be the original papers. I know that these papers were often filled in later, but, if so, they were filled in with a serial number that does not match the movement number.
