Pan-Pie 2648 - authenticity questions

Dear OF members and Pie-Pan experts,

I am casually looking for a nice pie-pan Conny to add to my collection and came accross this watch. Do not want to argue about price etc, but some question marks arose. Here the data that was shared by the seller:

  • Ref 2648 from 1952
  • 18k Rose Gold
  • French case
  • original Omega crown

My questions:
  • On the pics provided I cannot see an Omega sign on the crown, even though the seller mentions it was original. Is that possible or are maybe just the pics not clear enough?
  • dial origonality or is it a re-dial? the vertical line does not seem to cut the Omega logo in the middle but slighly further on the left side.
  • 18k rose gold: shouldn't there be a stamp 750 inside the case back?

Any other noteworthy details my eyes missed?

Thank you for your help already in advance.

Yes it’s a redial. If the seller isn’t being clear that this watch has been redialed they’re either dishonest or incompetent

For future reference - a French 18k case would have an eagle’s head stamp on the outside of the case.

Here’s a pie pan dial:

And this one is not a pie pan dial:

Both are very attractive, but you can see how they are different.
