If they launch a new Sub with thinner lugs I will take my 4 year old daughter with me to the AD. Last time I brought her the sales woman thought she was really cute. If it can shave a couple of years of the waiting time bringing it down to 12 years it is well worth it.

More likely your daughter will get one in time to give into her children..

I'm thinking a baby panda or harbour seal. Or offering to name a newly-discovered star after the AD clerk. Or shares in a production company. Everything's fair game in the Game of (Scarce) Crowns.

I usually ride my unicorn to my Rolex AD when I buy SS professional watches. I ring in advance and ask if they can reserve a space for it and if the have space for my Elven entourage. This has never failed.

Now you're just being silly. AD's never have a parking space. The rest seemed legit though.

Judging from the video it looks like a no date sub, the pip can be seen from this angle. A slimmer case would be nice.

It's definitely a no date. The lume shot has all the hour markers including 3 o'clock.

When I took my 4 year old daughter to the Rolex store and bought my first Rolex; and she got the Rolex Teddy bear as a free gift.

Months later I noticed it selling on eBay for $700 to $900 usd as a collectible...

I wanted to store it nicely and swap in another bear to sell for her future college fund, but she already bonded with it. Now 6 years old and she takes it everywhere still.

Oh and my guess is also a blue sub, but I’d love to see a 36mm explorer closer to the original 1016.... but not so similar as to devalue the original.

Releasing the 2020 models in 2020 seems reasonable....too reasonable.
Gotta be a catch.

You won’t get one until 2025.

That’s the catch.

The last few years have been fairly dull on the new releases. I do not expect much this year. An upgrade to the new movement across the entire line is in progress. Submariner and Daytona will get it at some point. Beyond that more dial colors and away we go. Also look to see more ceramic bezels, such as TT and PM Daytona and Explorer II.

No new release would be complete without a trite, corny, and hackneyed childish nickname.

They've already started to nickname it the Batmariner ; assuming it's got a blue bezel.

41 mm Sub-Date and No-Date. "Smurf"-Sub in 18k white Gold can't be ordered anymore so most likely discontinued and the path is free for a blue steel sub. Hulk will most likely be discontinued and the Kermit will in some way and form make a comeback.

There is a new Daytona on the horizon as well. Larger, and apperently with a steel ring surrounding the ceramic bezel.

Thats what the birds whisper... who knows if its true.

Lets see what they come up with in the near future.

Cheers,
Max

Apparently some photos have leaked of a new Kermit at 41 mm...

I really hope that is false news.
