Your guess is as good as mine and if it happens then it would be unobtainium anyway so frankly I am not too bothered by what they release.
I had a rather poor experience at my now ex Rolex AD (they lost their privilege ) here w a blro and finally was able to get one in July of this year via a good friend . Must say there still are good people around ...

Lucky to have gotten one. He just went from good friend to best friend 😁

I was very lucky . I actually ended up gifting it to my wife . i even paid what he had bought it for at retail . I just owe him a huge steak dinner to say the least.

Good vibes all around and you even had the strength to give it your wife. Now I'm feeling like a lousy husband 🙁

Nah no need to feel that way I already had this one so no need to pile them sky high ...

Hopefully they stop with the jubilee if they come with a new GMT

There is always such speculation, mostly by the people who own a specific model and think its discontinuance will make them millionaires.

I'm just waiting for the people who are materially invested in the grey price going, "No, the factory has been closed for many years* because of COVID, and therefore there will be NO PRICE SOFTENING."

*based on their tendency to say "the factory has been shut down for many months" when at the time it had been closed for about five weeks.
It happened to me querying for a 39mm that they were asking like $1k more. The seller pointed out the 5 years waitlist.

A Milgauss with a date would make it the prefect daily wearer. It's the only reason I don't wear mine as much as I want to. You don't need a date window...a date pointer would solve any issues of compromising the inner case's protective qualities.

I guess the underwater shots confirm that the submariner will receive an update 😀

Probably yes, everybody wants 3235. At the end of the day - it is just the another watch which we can't buy for the next year or two.

😁
A guy on WUS has won the internet with this comment:

I hope its a blue sub. It will allow us tudor mortals to joke about how rolex is an homage brand.

Pretty clear evidence back-to-their-roots Rolex is releasing an affordable everyman model intended to be taken into the ocean with a foremost emphasis on function in the water. It's all about nature, utility and the experience in the intended environment. I can't wait. I have $700 saved and will be at the AD first thing September first.

I have already filled out my waiting information for an eight hundred dollar (Canadian) 57mm 5000m WR Deep Sea Jr, which also comes with free sea monkeys. Get in line, pal! ::stirthepot::

At least this is one time I can sit back and watch others (no pun intended). I haven't bought a new Rolex since 1999, it was a 16520 Daytona series A. I previously mentioned it in another post somewhere.... I just don't like the metal surrounding the hour luminous plots in all the modern watches. I prefer the old style tritium plots with no metal around. Don't need to get in line, don't need to call the AD, don't need to wait.... feels good.

My guess is that just out of shot of that teaser vid is Rolexes new underwater production facility where they will now be able to easily meet demand and put an end to the ridiculous speculation and waitlists. 🫨
