Glad I checked I was just about to post this same article. I guess we both got it through targeted advertising/news

The sad thing is that far more people are speculating on what will discontinued versus what will be added. Will the submariner get an improved movement? Will that make the other 8,000,000 subs with the inferior movement more valuable? 🙄

Will they shave a millimetre off the lugs of the sub. Will they discontinue the hulk pushing its price to £20k. Will the sub get the new movement that does exactly the same as the old one?

I’ll never be able to buy anything anyway, so will watch with interest and stick to omega and Tudor!

I'm just waiting for the people who are materially invested in the grey price going, "No, the factory has been closed for many years* because of COVID, and therefore there will be NO PRICE SOFTENING."

*based on their tendency to say "the factory has been shut down for many months" when at the time it had been closed for about five weeks.

Well, Rolex will ANNOUNCE in 2020 but who knows when the watches will be released. I can't think of anything they would release that would get me excited. I have several Rolexes but they are being priced out of reach at this point.

hmm maybe theyll adapt a bezel on to the explorer 1 case and offer a new 39mm submariner as a throwback to the original release

They might have a laff and release some more variations of OP/DJ/Lady-DJ models because clearly that's what the public is after 🤨

3235 new sub is 95% certainty going to be released but that’s not remotely interesting even if you could buy it

I am sure that whatever they release will be given a childish nickname by the retromingents on TRF.

I’ll get them started early...Blade, Black Widow, Storm, Black Panther, NightWing 🤦 Only watches with superhero nicknames deserve to be owned

I wonder what they’ll call the two-tone, gold/steel, green dial GMT? ::stirthepot::

Doubt there is going to be a new steel watch coming out this year though.

Wish they’d do a 36mm explorer with lumed numerals. Even sicker if they change to the 1016 numeral font.
