A Milgauss with a bezel would be a cool addition to an already cool line.

milgauss is long overdue for a redesign. Bring back the look of the 1019

Wish they’d do a 36mm explorer with lumed numerals. Even sicker if they change to the 1016 numeral font.

I seriously discount this idea. Rolex is not that smart 😵‍💫

theyre not gonna go back to that, especially when putting white gold surrounds was such a ground breaking innovation 🙄😉😝

At least fill the numerals with lume then. That’s just pure laziness filling with paint.

Unfortunately, they'll never go back to 36mm on the Explorer ... the closest nowadays is the Tudor BB36, which, at its price is a great modern watch. I know it's already got a nice following (I believe G. Shteyngart has showed his off before for example), but If they update it with in-house, it'd be a breakout hit imo.

What model are you referring to? The current Explorer has lume filled numerals.

Popped into my AD to see if there was any progress on my TT Daytona and the SA states announcement on 1st September. Be on the ball and get any requests for the watches involved in very quickly to minimise waiting time, was another tip.

I was referring to the 36mm version. I like 36mm better.

There isn't a 36mm explorer in the current line up. When you say "at least fill the numerals with lume" are you referring to the discontinued 114270?

There is a 36mm OP with lumed 3, 6 and 9 in the current catalog as well which is worth a look

Oh no, now I won't be able to sleep tonight.

I am sincerely hoping for a couple truly interesting new textured dials or some completely wacky designs in the 36mm oyster perpetuals.

they have been experimental recently with OPs so there is a chance

Yes, 114270.

Im not sure I understand your point.

At least fill the numerals with lume then. That’s just pure laziness filling with paint.

You’re saying Rolex should make a change that they’ve already made.

Another one just like 214270 but in 36mm. Call it MK 3 or 314270 or whatever.

Easy now I like my Milgauss

I have it and love the z blue but I feel like a redesign is imminent. I would love to see something like this (ref 6541) to see them go back to their roots. Not holding my breath though

Your guess is as good as mine and if it happens then it would be unobtainium anyway so frankly I am not too bothered by what they release.
I had a rather poor experience at my now ex Rolex AD (they lost their privilege ) here w a blro and finally was able to get one in July of this year via a good friend . Must say there still are good people around ...

Isn't there speculation that the Milgauss line will be discontinued instead?

I have heard that rumor floating about as well
