Right, that watch is a bit crap, there's plenty of crap on eBay every day though.

Now I don't often do this, but I'm going to have to insist on something, and that is you being more positive, happy and enjoying watches rather than finding the flaws or problem with watches. Instead of posting bad watches, post some great photos of watches you've owned, or watches you've found that are good.

Instead of seeing the dark clouds, try to see the silver linings, and try to be happy. Aim for 5 happy, positive, enjoyable posts at least for every negative or sad post.

And that's an order. More happy, positive, uplifting, less depressing, sad, misery. Spend more time in the sun and drink some green tea as well, it'll do wonders.

Respectable Member dsio

Since the good old days till today, each time I see a watch mutilated or 'improved', I get extremely upset. At least to me, and maybe me only, I see a watch as a thing with life and should be treated with respect, the way we respect all fellow human-beings.

During those days when I had my collections, digital-camera was something newly-introduced and my Nikon F2 with a standard lens was hopeless, for close-up photography. Sad to say, I was handicapped and could not take any picture of those watches.

It was a fire-sale and there was no time for me, to bring any of those watches to a studio, to be photographed.

However, I shall take your kind and invaluable advice - to look at the positive and overlook the negative aspects of things. Whatever, my opinion that a watch should be left untouched, especially its dial and case, stands. During regular maintenance movement parts may have to be replaced and this is all right.

Thank-you.

I was tempted to get a couple - to avoid inevitable fights. But not at that price 😀
