Somebody here should DEFINITELY snag that with some kind of reasonable offer. That would clean up very nicely.
This is a good watch. With 4 offers pending someone should just BIN if they want it. Might save a small amount by making an offer, but 4 offers pending really just turns it back into an open bid.

Yeah, you have a point - but I think it's about $200-ish over what it should sell for. If it were stainless it might fetch a little more than gold capped, and it is a raw watch in need of a service and some TLC.

I agree with you completely D. It is just the many offers will preclude being able to purchase for the "true value" price. So if you want, you'll have to pay.

Hi,
First of all thanks for the tip. I have never been a fan of the 'modern' Speedmaster. I thought that if I ever get one, it will not have professional or moonwatch on it. I am new to this and it might be that this will be astronomically (no pun intended) high.

But can anyone comment on how much this should go for?

Nice looking cal. 564 pie-pan with original crystal and a back that hasn't been chewed up by ham-handed attempts at opening:

Domestic shipping of $30 is ridiculous, but take that into account in your bid.

This one's just about to go off in 2 hours, still around 3.5k

nasty little dial stain to the left of the 6 o'clock marker. Do you find it's worth much more?

Possible to clean it off (no guarantees of course!) but the rest of the watch looks quite nice including the sharp case and clean bezel.
