Continuing the Megaquartz theme, a rare Blue waffle dial one which looks to be the property of a member over at TZ--UK.

Currently not running and needs a new motor, it's the rarity of the dial that makes this interesting.

It appears to be mentioned in this very useful discussion : http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?191564-Omega-2-4Mhz-Megaquartz-Collected-Pictures-and-Facts

If his dead gramps left him 20 million why the f馃が is he selling the man's watch instead of keeping it to remind him of how generous the old guy was?

This guy might not think it, but he IS the typical eBay seller - unhelpful and arrogant.

He is probably used to selling watches with this dial:

Buyer beware on this watch with this seller. Here's some of the info I received from the seller when I was questioning the originality of the crown on the watch.

"I am sure it's all original ... Why are you saying the crown is not ?"
"I work at a reputable watch store for 20 years ... Have master watchmaker on site ... I am not a typical eBay seller ..."
"Correct crown? I already told you it's all original. It's my dead grandpas and he wore it twice my grandma bought it for him and it's an original crown."
"By the way ... I don't care to make money ... My grandpa left me 20,000,000 ... So have fun taking close up photos"

All I did was try to explain to him why I wanted more details / info on the watch when the pictures were so fuzzy that you can't see anything properly.

I chatted up this seller. He's more sarcasm than anything. Unsolicited he admits to being grumpy. He made no statement of being a beneficiary of $20 million, only that his 100% feedback speaks for itself. Sometimes ya just gotta roll with it.馃檮
