Sorry, I posted and you posted : So I did not understand why you were telling me to do a search as I never said a word about the flip. Nothing really, just a lot of communication going on where who said what when is hard to keep track of
Ok, misunderstanding- I just grabbed your post to reply because it was on the bottom. I should have grabbed Lou's. Sorry.
Still curious how Mathew Bain managed to run into 2 of they things, are they more common than I thought?
The NOS one was from 2010.(I get all wobbly seeing NOS like that) So 1 every 3 years. Just my looking around I see 3 or 4 a year. So who knows. Scarce for sure. Just an opinion, but, when you have a rep like his I think you get a lot of consignment offers of sellers seeking max exposure for important pieces. Same with Andrew Shear and others. I also think these high profile sellers get offered important pieces by sellers who want anonymity and a reputation imputed correctness that adds market value and a good offer from Matt or Andrew or Eric. These guys live on their rep. And they all seem to be doing very well.

For anyone familiar with this seller. When Alex says "MOVEMENT: FULL SERVICE ORIGINAL OMEGA AUTOMATIC" etc does that mean the movement has recently been serviced?
I picked this one up. I'm in process of trying to identify, but caseback says 67 145.012. I was going after a 145.022 transitional from 68. I do not know how to get the antimagnetic back off so I'll just wait. Pete
You got a very nice buy there. That doesn't happen too often with a popular watch like a Speedmaster. No movement pictures in the listing certainly helped.
The square gold TMDP ends at whooping USD 7100 by unconvincing bid. http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/13099820...AX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_1339wt_903Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Ooooooo, me likey! Not that I'm going to bid since I have one with markers I like even better, but it's in nice shape. Pricey even if perfect. In that condition it's about $300 too high at least.
