Sounds like budgeting for a service would be wise (well, probably wise for any vintage piece, but especially for this one)

It works in the sense that winding it makes it go, but it doesn’t keep accurate time

Yea it should be a given for any piece bought off ebay, but Cal 565 so a solid movement with plenty of donors in a pinch

You must have a relationship with a watchmaker you have confidence in to wear vintage.
Both are wonderful experiences.
