George I believe that the "hole" is the customs stamp from Portugal at the time. Learned this from achim last week here. Cheers

The use of "OM" appears to be intermittent according to Desmond, so in most cases you would have to look at the back to be sure. However, gold dial Constellations are usually fairly distinctive. I do not believe the watch that Ash (Ash never said the dial was gold) posted and you quote has a gold dial. I think it is just the effect of the color temperature of the photo lighting source.

Golden seamaster. Condition being equal I prefer this to the grand luxe constellation pictured above - certainly more uncommon and harder to find especially with an original 18k gold bracelet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171004054211?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Its stunning and the rivet bracelet looks great, its just that the Grand Luxe stepped Piepan is that perfect storm of Omega's most dramatic and loved design elements.

Oh yeah - 0 feedback seller with fuzzy pics.... an Omega collectors dream! (....of the nightmare variety, that is. ) Why do I remember a similar eBay ID that had a negative connotation attached to it?
