I won one of the auctions listed here and was wondering when was it enough to send a watch back? I’m a newbie - only my second Omega.
You may want to create a new thread outside of this one that discusses the watch you purchased and reasons for wanting to return it, while asking for advice. While this thread may be where you purchased that watch, this thread really isn’t intended for those discussions.

My bad. Seemed pretty casual with all the UK talk.

This thread does support focused side discussion like what to expect pieces to go for, especially for pieces listed in the UK, which has a pretty hot/competitive market at the moment. That’s relevant to this thread as A LOT of UK pieces are shared. Why you want to return a watch isn’t really relevant, despite this being the thread where you found it. Someone may come along and still answer you, but posting this question in a more appropriate section of this forum will open it up to more people that can offer guidance than the few that regularly visit here. That’s all 👍

UK watch, not a bad watch that photographs badly, terrible crystal and quite filthy but hasn’t been polished, bezel edges are very good, dial is very good under the crystal. Ref 14393 Connie in steel.

Another decent DeVille, the much on the bottom left seems to be on the crystal as you can see it move in the first two pics, otherwise its pretty sharp and the bracelet is in decent shape.

Really nice, very clean Seamaster DeVille in steel with an excellent dial and hands and 7-row BoR bracelet. It will be popular but it deserves to be as its a superb example.

Same watch.
Is this one of those cases whereby a Japanese seller is listing something they don’t yet have?

I’ll bet ‘Mynt auctions’ wouldn’t be too pleased to see the eBay listing.
I mostly do pens, and I mostly like '40s Omegas and Tissots, but I've been following modern-ish Tudors and Rolexes on Liveauctioneers lately. There's a group of auctioneers on that platform who always have a lot of them in auction after auction. This includes Mynt and a few others. If you follow an individual watch, you find that it will sell for sometimes twice what a similar watch is selling for on eBay or even Chrono24. Sometimes a watch will appear on one auction and is simultaneously listed in another auction scheduled for a few days or weeks later. Needless to say the auctioneer does not have physical possession of the items it is selling. It seems that these auctions operate not so much as auctions but as storefronts, giving sellers a chance to find the buyer who'll pay their price on several platforms. I don't know how many of the buyers in these auctions are real buyers. For the items I've followed, if they're real, they're people willing to pay 1.5-2 times (plus 20% buyer's commission) the value of the item. My suspicion is that these auctioneers are not too fussy about how they prevent consignors from bidding on their own watches, but of course I can't prove this. When I see a watch I want, and I see it's being offered by one of these auctioneers, I just forget about it, and look for items in real auctions.

This one’s already at 500 I have a feeling it might crack a grand given condition and bracelet

This is pretty cool, 166.721 Geneve in steel with blue dial and mesh bracelet, Calibre 565. Its a larger piece at 37mm quite uncommon too.

That’s very nice - an unusual
