The new owner is a member, I’ve been chatting with him and hopefully we will see it around when he gets it which is nice 👍

18K gold Omega hidden crown piepan, really nice overall condition, non-luminous dial, and these hidden crowns are noticeably larger than other piepans at 35.5mm and wear similar to a Datejust 36. It won’t go cheap but for whatever reason hidden crowns get less attention than doglegs, lyre lugs etc so it won’t be excessive either.

This nice 18K solid gold hidden crown piepan goes off in 30 mins, price is still pretty reasonable

Seems like the shilling continues, who wants to bet it'll end at a ridiculous price (it already is at $1500~) and then relisted in a few days?
Down about 45% from the first time it sold. If it goes up for sale again and there is another 45% discount, I might be a buyer. 🙄

You get this. Think it was a very good price for a 37mm

UK Watch, this nice 18K hidden crown going off in 10 hours, still reasonably priced, great case condition and dial in particular

That’s a tempter but the seller has a feedback score of 4 and nothing in the last 12 months. That sort of thing worries me. I know there’s eBay protection but I don’t like to rely on it. He has a “no returns” policy and there are no movement pics. I tried recently to negotiate with someone along these lines before paying for a watch and was given short shrift.

While I tend to be mindful of that, a lot of people who aren’t dealers or pickers just have 1 watch to sell and no history of selling watches before, and those are often the best watches given they tend to be untouched and unpolished.

Just over an hour left on this still only 1400 quid which isn’t high for a nice 18k Connie

£1650
absolute steal for a rather nice watch

and relisted.

Not enough time IMO for a buyer to flake so very possibly a seller not happy with the final price.
