Seller advertised it as gold plated but may be wrong. You might want to request more detailed photos before bidding as if it's solid gold, though.

Nearly vintage quartz, seems like a reasonable deal to me. Dont know, but suspect these may have a 1538 cal.

UK Watch, based on recent sales in the UK the starting bid on this DeVille is not unreasonable but they’re also open to offers so if you can get it down even a little its a great buy. This dial and hands combination tends to be more common in the US so the watch may have originated there.

This is an interesting UK watch, long ago these were thought to be bogus but I’ve seen dozens of them now all with the identical dial and Calibre 551 movement and two members on here have even pulled extracts on them showing them to be correctly Cal 551s although calling them Geneves not Seamasters. IMO worth it at the asking and worth an offer for an unusual Seamaster Chronometer / Geneve oddity.

This Constellation hidden crown in gold-cap does have some patination and that should be factored into the bid, don’t overpay, but the patina isn’t too much so if you don’t mind it, the price might stay a bit lower than other Connies and stay within your budget.
