This is one of the nicest gold plated Geneve automatics in quite some time. Many of these have pretty rough conditioning on the plating but this is how it should be. Mint watch, highly recommended.

Yea whoever got it did well, when its a good quality piece there’s no shame in overpaying even by a third or more, the market will catch up with what you paid in a few years anyway and you’re buying it to wear it and enjoy it anyway.
