Nope, that’s not just you. 😁
I suppose some people do enjoy wearing a few grams of the previous owners DNA while having their hair pulled and case lugs scratched but it’s a preference thing lol

I also like how they either limit blood supply to the left hand just enough to be uncomfortable, or they sit loose enough for you to find your watch at the bottom of the wrist after a few quick movements.

Just a great product.

This is rare. Omega Geneve Chronometer Calibre 602 which is almost never seen, in an 18K solid gold case, in excellent condition. Very cool, very overlooked given how special it is, and potentially obtainable. Very worth having.

This Geneve chronometer 602 has just over a day left, $1330 so far, still expecting somewhere between that and $2000, interesting piece in exceptional condition though so could go higher as well.

This 18K solid gold C-Case Cal 751 is going off today, condition is pretty good so should be a few interested parties.

Painful to see this again :/ I passed on it as I'm pretty overwhelmed lately and it's hard to keep funds available for awesome watches that keep popping up, is it seasonal? I don't know, but I love it

I came here to see whether the tropical Don Draper Omega was discovered and to warn members not to buy it, I already bought it but the seller didn't remove the listing

Fairly confident, but not 100%. The shape of the cardinal indices on the dial point me to WG, as do the details of the hippo on the case back and the overall lustre.

The attached twisto is WG capped, which doesn't prove anything, but adds more to the above.

IIRC, the "WATERPROOF" should be on the medallion if it is a Swiss, solid gold version.

How about US made cases by Ross, Jonell, and the like?

UK Watch, not a bad example of the 9KT non-Swiss cased Seamaster DeVille, like the US or Swiss cased versions they’re still front loading and hold up reasonably well to daily use. Don’t bid on it if you’re not in the UK as it will go higher than other European watches due to the great British VAT wall and keep in mind that 9KT gold goes for less than 18K or 14K, it tends to be priced more in line with gold-cap or slightly higher.

As far as I understand price is end price (i.e. no fees at this auction)
