US Steel applied logo dial Omega Seamaster DeVille, these are a ref 166.020 with Cal 562 and they all have engravings on the back too but they’re a cool piece of history from an age when US manufacturing was at the top of the world and may of particular interest to anyone from Pittsburgh / Pennsylvania. I just like the applied USS because it looks cool and they’re good watches to begin with. The scratch is just on the crystal as you can see in the seller’s other photos it moves depending on the photo angle.

These are cool, overlooked but cool. Reference 166.0141, 1970s with a strange barcode motif but and a square-ish but with the venerable Calibre 750 day-date movement in it, so it’ll be a good watch to wear. I’d try to find a really funky strap maybe something like Porsche pasha cloth interior to go with the dial even. Nobody really knows or cares about these so it should stay fairly low.

Thanks for this, that's actually right up my street so might try and bid for it.

Only an hour and a half left on this Geneve in the UK, only 250 quid atm
Thanks for the heads up on this Geneve (full set). I’m the proud new owner!! Watch was filthy but has cleaned up well. Scratches buffed out of the crystal and NOS Omega strap fitted 😀

A 168.017 at what I think is a fabulous price. A C-case with a sparkle dial and a razor sharp case. Very dressy and good established seller out of Japan. Just need to clean the shmutz off the outer bezel.

Wrong thread, this one is not for inquires as stated in the title. You can start a new thread for this topic if you would like and you will get good responses I am sure.

Edit to add: I am not an expert either but its not right to my non-expert eye.

Went for $737.
Yea that’s about fair at the moment, the chronometers tend to be a bit higher than that

I believe this is white gold
You sure? Can’t see any hallmarks or the 14k white gold between the lugs due to the gunk, its pretty untouched for white gold, you’d expect a bit more scratches and marks. The color feels a bit too cool to be WG too but that could always be white balance.

Fairly confident, but not 100%. The shape of the cardinal indices on the dial point me to WG, as do the details of the hippo on the case back and the overall lustre.

The attached twisto is WG capped, which doesn't prove anything, but adds more to the above.

Just steel IMO - if I recall correctly, the gold ones had either a plain caseback or a different bevel and lighter Waterproof engraving.

Either way, dibs on that twisto flex

What is it with twist-o-flex here? Are they really that cool? I take them off and put straps on.
