That beautiful Omega 30T2 you just sold wasn't on Ebay but definitely a great buy. Too bad i wasn't able to get in contact with you fast enough!
Maybe we should change the title of the thread to: "I am recommending this watch without reservation (on Ebay). I will not ask a question about a watch that I am unsure of. I'm sure that it is correct, it is not overpriced, and I am not the seller"
I was hoping this might fly under the radar but it's clearly been seen. More evidence of the growing demand for these increasingly scarce early Seamasters. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122926497881?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Pictures aren't great, but if that NAAFI receipt ties up to the movement number, and that bracelet and links in the bag are a 7912/6, then someone might get a nice Ed White at a good price https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/omega-sp...079605?hash=item362b15bfb5:g:1g8AAOSwpw1aczOpPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Rose gold case and yellow gold hands......no picture of the inside case back either, I really wonder if that case is actually an Omega one?
It is, is a French one, as it should, as the dial is marked Fab. Suisse. and the case bears the French markings (there is a photograph of the inside case back). The movement, also, is 73 numbers away from a watch sold here by our own Kyle, two years ago: https://omegaforums.net/threads/1940s-omega-pink-gold-cal-28.40892/#post-478245
In fact, it is a strange watch, so the logical first reaction is "that is not a kosher omega". Actually, whenever I see one (and it is not that often) I end up doing a "reductio ad Kyle": it looks like Kyle's, so it must be authentic. But it should be cheaper, IMHO.

Omega 131.001, seems really clean, box and papers £385. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vintage-...029472?hash=item213a0075e0:g:QLsAAOSwl5tal-Q3Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Looks like a nice example with the exception of the tool mark on the caseback. Not sure if the crown is correct. Super sharp case. No affiliation with the seller. Cheers. https://www.ebay.com/itm/162925849136?ul_noapp=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

I was piqued so I messaged him asking if they sold elsewhere. He said he's withdrawn it pending an extract from omega so I suspect it may be relisted at a later date with an extract attached?
That might have been my fault - I asked if he had an Extract, he said no, I said the Extract would show if it was a NAAFI delivered watch and advised he get one...
Not exactly a recommendation, but these are rare I think. Just popped up at 1000 USD or best offer.
