I followed the auction to the end. Went for $1805, which is out my budget. Somebody here got it? If so, congrats!
Bid $1830 a split second too late. what a bummer.
More like what a "bumper" lol. Sorry I couldn't resist.

I didn't bid either. Small baby steps to getting over the constellation addiction.
Good point. That actually does make me feel better. Thanks!

Love this board. Love Omega's.
If it make you all feel better it's NOT worth the sale price

In fact, it was worth that price to two people, and a third was ready to pay $1777. 😜

ask and you shall receive

this dogleg dome dial Connie is very nice
and also one for all you flat-link-bracelet junkies out there
(will sell for a lot more than the top estimate though)
Nice watch I've been looking at a lot of these and ones in far less condition have been going for 700 to 800 USD. I bet it ends up going for more like 1200 USD.

Well £pounds ain't what they used to be
McTears have a good following and with the way even dome dial Connies are selling at auction in the U.K. - and with that bracelet - I reckon that will be hammer price

That's gonna go through the roof.
I was the lucky bidder. Advertised as NOS. Will look good on either 145.012 or 145.0022 or even Silver Snoopy.

Congrats! You got it for less than I expected. 👍 I figured a Speedy Tuesday buyer would spring for it, since that is the most appropriate bracelet (IMO) for an all-brushed Speedy.

Seller has another 1450 listed, although not in as nice shape as yours.

Definetely a fan of the vintage seamasters
We have lots of threads from members asking opinions on watches listed on ebay. How about we turn things around - let's talk about watches on ebay that are worth purchasing. My disclaimer is that I am not affiliated with any of the sellers whose watches I post here and cannot make any guarantees except to say the watch in the listing looks good to me.

Here is one - a nice looking vintage seamaster:

And a nice looking vintage piepan constellation - I would like better pictures but the ones up in the listing suggest a decent watch. What makes this uncommon is that the markers are silver and not yellow gold. Seller accepts returns so you have some level of security.

Great catch! I agree with Andy K----that was a bit less than I thought it would fetch. The 1450 is pretty much my favorite bracelet on a Speedmaster.
