Nope. Had a second generation globemaster, waffle dial connie but not a first gen waffle dial with arrowhead markers. Damn, I drooled on my keyboard just typing that.
I'm just trying to give myself a reason not to bid on it. Main reason I shared it here so I wont be tempted . Best of luck whoever goes for it!
Not a bad watch for the price. No affiliation with the seller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/292053878032Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Kind of straddling the line between vintage and modern but here's a supposedly unused 1450/808 no reserve auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/332154286218Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Nice honest looking watch with attractive patina, IMO. No movt shot but a good price, and negotiable. No affiliation with the seller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/222441335167Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Even though the wear and overall look match the rest of the watch, I'm calling "replaced handset" on that one. They seem too short as minute and seconds hand should reach the outer track.
Is the Seamaster font correct...Ive seen this font before a few times but mostly the hanger capital S and 3 bumped m...any thoughts?
Hi Linda That's a subject that's been debated a lot of times on here, go have a search for "coathanger" - that ought to net you a few results. On this reference, it's just fine.
Thank you I will! I have this one which Im trying to research...is it wrong and if so why.. it is radioactive...i got the smart geiger app and counter... No serial number as the bridge has been replaced but it is a 342 cal...so maybe 1950"s? Comments...I just love the look of it.
Congrats on a good looking vintage Seamaster - this, however, is a thread for posting vintage watches that you've found for sale online, which you'd recommend to other members, not for showing your own watches or getting advice. Have a look around the "Vintage Omega Watches" subforum and find a more suitable place to post yours and ask for advice
So sorry I was on your " lhow to fish" forum and skipped to this and got caught up in conversation and forgot which forum I was in...my apologies
A decent Seamaster de Ville in the UK, photos not brilliant but it all looks original. The dial is nice and I'm pretty sure that scratch between 8 and 9 is actually on the crystal. No movement pic as is usual with these frontloaders but it will be a 562 or a 565. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-Aut...555936?hash=item41c043ff20:g:t9UAAOSwOgdYyZdQPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
The illiterate poster also posted in the Report Fakes thread. Serious issue with reading comprehension.
I followed the auction to the end. Went for $1805, which is out my budget. Somebody here got it? If so, congrats!
More like what a "bumper" lol. Sorry I couldn't resist. I didn't bid either. Small baby steps to getting over the constellation addiction.
