Vintage Centenary Silver box. These clean-up very well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/191722698159?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
As stated, they clean well. Approx. $125 in silver alone. So considering that and rarity not a bad purchase. Wayne
I'm not commenting on price at all here. Just thought it would be cool to show possibly the closest equivalent of a speedmaster that you can get in a dress watch: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301770414306?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Screw back 2887 with blurry pictures but it looks like it could have a decent dial and clean up well. The BIN isn´t too bad either http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-O...906273?hash=item3ab52fb6e1:g:argAAOSwAYtWMpLTPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
They accepted a much lower price than the BIN and they are local to me in Los Angeles. We will see what the condition is in a day or two.
I had an offer set to go, got distracted as I was about to submit it and an hr later when I was able to get back to it, I guess you had already struck as it showed sold... Glad it went to someone here and look forward to what you report back!
