·Well! You almost have the answer for her birth name! In fact, her birth name is included amongst the suppositions that you have made. Once you discard the non-relevant words, arrive at her (yes, it IS a she) birth name and Google it, you’ll have the answer.

·I only did the easy part... I’m pretty sure you’ve got the right answer. I didn’t think to develop ‘Lucy’ into ‘Lucille’
Googling ‘Lucy Wood Smith’ doesn’t really come up with anything!
I thought about using Lucille Ball. But I thought that might be a bit obvious. Then I thought about using Lucille Starr. But I thought for sure nobody who frequents this MB would have heard about her, being Canadian as she is.
