WHAT ARIA DOUG?

I don’t know the musicological definition of an aria. But I listened to Lascia Ch’io Panga from Handel’s opera Rinaldo, and it was indeed beautiful.

Hopefully this is a sound Rebus
Very sound, especially when rendered by LP.

Think I’d better do the honours and bestow the team effort award for solving the ‘Lascia ch'io pianga’ puzzle. Not an easy one.

Not an aria, or an opera, or a symphony.

It should be very easy.

Can’t enjoy an aria without one, preferably two

This was the aria I mentioned earlier as being the one I had watched. Never associated it to the rebus as being the answer.
