The player's surname sounds different in many languages, it's my little clue to the answer when I was replying to @Matty01

I am listening to the Aria elucidated by Charlemagne’s clue and am quite enthralled with it
Had always thought I detested arias/operas and have paid scant attention to opera and just marginally more to classical

So much have I enjoyed Charlemagne’s rebus aria, that I have now started a classical playlist in Tidal with just that one Handel aria, so far…
Please, those of you who love opera and classical, feel welcome to offer additional suggestions
