Good work, everyone! The catalyst to the answer was @Charlemagne1333 who was ohhhhh, so close!

To be fair, all I did was offer some suggestions according to each picture. I never would have solved that one, so all credit to @stormysky10 - that was some solve.

Do we have a new rebus ace detective?

With one or two hints I had in mind, to dribble out, you’d’a got it. But well done to @stormysky10 . @Charlemagne1333 had included the correct answers for all but three clues. Had the answer not been arrived it as quick as it had, one more sleep, and @Charlemagne1333 would have had it, l’m certain.

I decided to try my hand at making one. This has an animated solution:

I'll give it a try.

Dog gnawing a stick
Map of Route 66
Tow truck

Leads me to anime character "Naruto"

There IS such a character? Well, fan me with a red hot brick! Never heard of that character, but @JimInOz answer sounds plausible.

I never cease to be amazed at the perspicacity of some of those who post here. Another one I had NO hope of figuring out.

Put your thinking caps on. I am looking for a person and a significant event. Nobody represented in the clues is the person I’m looking for. You can go to the head of the class if you get both the person, and the significant event!

I'm taking a rough stab at it.

The person is Queen Elizabeth II and the event is her Coronation on June second, 1953.

Aw shucks @JimInOz . I thought you might at least have had to think about the two answers I sought! While she had been the reigning monarch since her father’s death on Feb. 6, 1952, her coronation took place on June 2, 1952. Seventy years ago today (Thursday). Her platinum jubilee. I’ll have to try harder to make my submissions more difficult. Well, it might have been considered difficult for some, but our ace solver @JimInOz nailed as easily as tripping over a log! Well done! Go to the head of the class!

I figured it had to be something to do with Her Maj.
I was on Flightradar24 and noticed half of the Royal Air Force in orbit patterns over the North Sea, and then tracking direct toward London.
Put 2 and 2 together.
