It’s okay to exclude me on that one. I’da not got it anyway.😀

You were barred because you may have seen this item and could have had it explained to you in Canadian history lessons at school.
Too much of an advantage 😁.

Ummm, is it, “I’d like to take that blonde to the Ritz for a drink?

That's about as far as I got too.

Alcohol, expensive hotels, and attractive blondes.
It’s a slippery slope… but what a way to fall 😁

I’m surprised @Canuck hasn’t put us out of our misery. According to the interwebs, it’s one of Canada’s most well known tourist destinations.

You’ll have to wrap up warm, if you ever go there, but at least they’ll never run out of ice for your scotch 😕

Mexico, Hawaii, Las Vegas, a few of Canada’s best known tourist destinations. Or how about West Edmonton Mall?Wickaninish Inn at Tofino on Vancouver Island? Yellowknife, NWT? For all your clues mean to me, you may as well have shown three red herrings! Let’s try the Fogo Island Inn, Fogo Island, NFLD, Canada?

Hotel de Glacé, ice hotel in Quebec City.

Thread:

The RITZ (Carlton) Hotel = HOTEL
Sandra Dee = DE
Glass goblet = GLACÉ (French for ICE😀

Ergo: Hotel de Glacé, (where it is only possible to get a “chilly” reception!) 😀

Faith in humanity has been restored.

Well played @Canuck

Seems like as though we should now be prepared to incorporate some translations into our answers. I’ll have to keep that in mind. I know a few Zulu words and phrases! 😁 Stay tuned!

A historical event, in Australia…

The 'Australian event' hint gave me a fighting chance:
Arquimedes Eureka moment
Ladle, soup, stock
First Aid

This took me back 167 years ago today to the Eureka Stockade when gold prospectors threw down the gauntlet and said enough was enough.

19 Dec1846 has a significant message for Canadians

some language translation maybe required. Zulu not needed but a little Greek will help.

The conspiracy theory that Australia doesn’t exist has gone viral over the past week, breathing new life into an old meme...

https://theculturetrip.com/pacific/...eople-think-australia-doesnt-exist-heres-why/

I knew there was something quite not right with this continent...
Fascinating read, given credibility by the Flat Earth Society 😉

Apparently Finland is also a figment of the imagination designed to fulfill sushi export quotas from Japan to Russia…
