That’s the traditional front wheel fender of an Indian motorcycle. I believe they now use the term ‘indian fendered’ for any bike that adopts the same style.

I think peta unwound refers to an anagram of peta which leads to the manly find of the Tollund man in a peat bog.

Oh... the first word clues - didn't read that properly. So am I as far as the second part is concerned - the toll part is obvious.
