    That’s the traditional front wheel fender of an Indian motorcycle. I believe they now use the term ‘indian fendered’ for any bike that adopts the same style.

    No apologies for a tough one - the talent here can and will solve it of that I have no doubt. Cryptic Clue: Peta unwound leads to a manly find.

    First word:

    This'll be good.

    I'm totally stumped, only got two words and the cryptic is way beyond me.

    ::confused2::

    Hahaha!

    YOU GOT IT WRONG!

    It's Denmark, NOT Benmark!

    :D

    I think peta unwound refers to an anagram of peta which leads to the manly find of the Tollund man in a peat bog.

    Oh... the first word clues - didn't read that properly. So am I as far as the second part is concerned - the toll part is obvious.

    Ah yes.

    That wasn't very obtuse at all was it ;).
    Haven't done cryptic since I sat in an office all day, might get back to them to freshen the old grey cells up.

    BTW, well done Mike.

    Sometimes the rebus thread makes me feel like the mythical character in the two clue rebus. What is this character’s name, and story behind the name?

    Tan talus

    Tantalus

    He was made to stand in a pool of water beneath a fruit tree with low branches, with the fruit ever eluding his grasp, and the water always receding before he could take a drink. (with thanks to Wikipedia)
