It was solved... Close but no cigar

I saw the close but no cigar reply, but I thought that was a comment pertaining to a close but not correct answer. Got it.

Mega Speed Weigh Tern. But I’ll work on it.

Here is a hint: Only a picture of Meg Ryan from this scene would work. Also, think about what kg is technically used to measure.

Tough one.

Kneel = Neil
Tributary = fork or Arm
Barbell broken = Strong
Neil Armstrong.

I apologize for that one. I’ve been uploading ones that are too easy!

Ah, I had ruled out Neil Armstrong because of the previous "Astronaut Neil Armstrong."

Right! Too easy.

This would not have been easy except the Rhea is one of about 10 exotic animals we have in our small town zoo.

Ah ha! I was correct on the dingo part! The dingo is known to those of us in the Northern hemisphere, but Ernie Dingo, not so. But it seems that Ernie Dingo isn’t well known by Australians or New Zealanders, either! Leastwise not the ones on the OMB! So I feel no shame for not being able to totally identify the subject of you rebus.

Is knowing the type of plant important to the solution?
.
I guess it was. This was tricky.

I answered it with a picture, guess I should have explained it in words but I got carried away with the puzzle thing 😁.

THAT might be an answer to an Aussie. But it sure ain’t no answer to a Canadian. I need to know “Maori”! 😁
