Well done mate.

Even all those years after I came back I still found it a great movie and a sad portrayal of the futility of what happened there.
Not just there, but the whole thing.

No stars this time.

Just take a moment or two to remember.

Scape goats turned into heroes! Score extra points if you can give us the back story.

Excellent @Charlemagne1333 , absolutely correct! 1983, Air Canada 767 ran out fuel at 41,000 feet! Thanks to the captain who had years of experience flying sail planes (gliders), he was able to keep it airborne until he was able to land at a de-commissioned RCAF airport at Gimli, Manitoba. This achievement which happened on this day in 1983, still stands as a record for the longest flight of a commercial airliner that had run out of fuel, and that landed successfully, with no loss of life! The pilots initially were chastised for their oversight which resulted from confusion over fuel measurement in litres and pounds. After investigation, they were credited as being heroes. The 767 was repaired, and flew for years after the event. Well done!

This one looked as if it was gonna be pretty straightforward. Haven’t got a Scooby Doo, yet!

Anyway, you clever Dicks (I was going to post that as a rebus, but couldn’t think how to portray clever) cogitate about this one.

A 16th century novel…
