Transam minus am
Siberian tiger
A bird, I guess it's not a "High" so it must be a Rail.
Scales = Weigh

Thus I deduce: Trans Siberian Railway.

And to add to the story, my Darlin' Ms JiO transited the TSR in April/May 1986 from Vladivostok to Moscow, and according to her, they were quite exciting/scary/amazing times.

Not surprising, given that we were still in the Cold War era in ‘86…

Had a pleasant stroll around the bay, this afternoon, and took a snap of this:

Various cruise liners, temporarily decommissioned, and anchored down, during these Covid times.
The vessel in the centre of the three is a little more interesting than the other two. She’s cruise liner class, but fulfills her role as an ocean liner very well.
Can you name her?

Okey Dokey! Let’s try MS Queen Elizabeth 2.
The QE2 was retired in 2008.
What replaced her? Google is your friend 👍
Almost there @Canuck , I’m rootin’ for ya

Google tells me that M S Queen Victoria replaced M S Queen Elizabeth 2. But the clues in the rebus don’t indicate
M S Queen Victoria. At least, to me they don’t.

Well, I’m gonna give it to ya @Canuck
You have, strictly speaking, given us the correct answer. You just gave us a little more than you needed to.
MS Queen Elizabeth was what I was looking for. She replaced the QE2 (counter intuitively, I know)

Hem
Rudolf Hess
Queen bee
Elizabeth Taylor

I’m raising a glass of Scotland’s finest to you

You can have the angels’ share 😀

I had coffee on my front porch with Sam Elliott during the filming of Gettysburg. A gentleman indeed.

Brings back some fun memories! Good REBUS! 😀

One of my favourite American actors.
👍
He always had the "3Cs" in my opinion.
Calm
Collected
Controlled
and he never seemed to be "acting", oh! except for his bit in Parks and Recreation 😁.

Quick one to solve before dinner (or brekky, or lunch).
