@JimInOz , Is this a rebus, or a reply to Mandy Rice Davies and Christine Keeler?

It was my answer in the form of a Rebus. I saw the pic of CK and MRD and instantly recognised them and didn't bother to read the rest of the question, which was to provide names, location etc etc.

Serves me right for jumping in before looking 😁.

I started out with Andre Aggasiz (?), and smoke, then Oh, I got the A (A team), but went to midway, and then I replied to your rebus with my question. Thanks to @TasMike for putting me out of my misery! And I am mildly astonished that @JimInOz picked up on the picture of the “ladies” so fast.

I'll have a tenuous stab..

Molotov Cocktail cooler?

@Transitus! I’ll give you a star for that answer. Molotov cocktail is what I was after.

Moll = Mol
Olympic Stadium, Montreal, Big O = O
Tovaris- aris = tov
Click = cock
Nursery + rime (frost) = rhyme = tale

mol o tov cock tail

FOR THE WIN!

As promised, here’s my badge 😁!

Well that's very generous but I'm not sure I deserve it.
I was a bit stuck with the winter scene and totally missed 'rime'...which is a lovely word btw 😀

Here, 100 kms east of the Rocky Mountains, on the prairies of Western Canada, we know all about “rime”. The result of high humidity and low temperatures. Rime is not a word known by much of the world. And you do deserve a star for your answer.

It sounds very beautiful and I hope it is. I remember trying to picture these landscapes reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance in my youth!

@JimInOz ,

One, two, three, four, is correct. For that you get half a star. Now, the REST of the idiom, and you’ll get t’other half. The image from Alice in Wonderland is only a clue, not to be construed as a direct part of the answer. The answer (in other words) is not from Alice in Wonderland.
