·Longines Ref. 7823-15 with cal. 847.3. According to Longines, this one was invoiced to the company "Chronostyle", who were their agent in Romania at that time. I checked, and the company still exists and is still a Longines partner.
So, this one has been once around the world, manufactured in Switzerland, sold in Romania, and somehow ended up in Japan, where I bought it. Now it is in Germany, where I had it serviced, and it is now running really well (as in, modern-day COSC spec - these Longines calibers were really amazing quality).
Apparently, the ref. 7823 was made in a lot of different versions, with colourful dials, roman numerals ect. - so I'm including a page from a Japanese catalogue showing two other versions (on the bottom right). One could start building a collection with just this model...
