tube + cloth. Dremel + good intentions = 😲

So Polywatch + cloth for the hesalite and then the Dremel wheel for the dial and hands, correct?

Sensodyne specifically or any toothpaste?

And here I thought it was Polywatch or purgatory.

What we really need is a thread about crystal polishing.

And while we're at it, a thread about which is the best oil to use for centre wheels.

Oh......hang on....

Yes they can.

An attractive, statuesque blonde once complimented me on my 1861 Speedy Pro.
We spent that evening in the throes of wild, unforgettable passion that continued well into the wee hours.

Never saw him again after that…

We use a mild auto paint rubbing compound and have always done so. Works as good or better than any expensive plastic polish and one can will last forever, rather than the extortionate price of a tiny tube of poly crap. I've never tried, but scarecrow seems to have good luck with toothpaste as well, and he won't got broke that way either. Polywatch is for gullible newbies that don't know any better. Plastic is plastic so any mild rubbing/polishing compound will work.

My tube of Polywatch from my “gullible newbie” days is almost gone. I’ve seen toothpaste mentioned a couple of times here. I’m going to give that a shot next.

Novus products also work well and they are far less expensive than PolyWatch. Same stuff that I use to polish scratches out of the hull on my thermoform acrylic sea kayak.

Seconding Novus. Works better and faster than Polywatch or any other 1 step system.
