I think that the watch has appeal overall and I think it would look very nice on the wrist. But it does have condition issues on the dial and case. Without a bracelet, I don't think I'd pay $15k.

It’s got some issues but it’s far more presentable than many I’ve seen.

The dial is okay, as are the hands. I get the concern about color, but when I look at the lume and the hands closely, they seem more original than messed with; the most problematic is the chrono hand, but the rest looks too irregular to be someone’s effort to artificially improve the watch.

Bezel is okay. It appears to have original pushers and crown. Pictures are not good enough to accurately assess the case. It might be better than we are guessing: look at how nice the back is.

If it runs and the serial number checks out, I think this is somewhere between $11.5k and $15k, depending on the case. It’s worth about $11.5k in parts alone.

Given the ask price for the watch you posted, I would hold for something better. I bought mine when I posted a WTB post here at OF.

What might have caused the bezel discolouration on the left hand side of the bezel of the OP's watch @

@Taddyangle that is a beautiful watch.

Rally appreciate all your comments which are very insightful. I’ll keep looking and if any of you have one you are looking to sell or see one in good condition please let me know.

I'm super new but learned quick that you may never find the watch you want for the price that it would go on this forum. You must choose either extreme patience or getting it for more. Good luck

Dial: Aparently old relume, damaged dial aound the center maybe retouched to make up, also more signs of damage here and there, for ex. below the 11 marker very visible a scratch.
Hands: Lack of paint, chipped, lume of the hands looks relumed and flaked off and not apelaing.
Movement: Worn and not fresh, needs to be fixed, shows Chrono creep issue, check hour sub counter.
Middle case: Polished but still some material there, shows retouch all over, sides, and lugs.
Case Back: Polished (visible from the step rounded) but sea horse logo still visible and shows some crispness the engraving.
Don bezel: Shows some scratches specially around the boarders, and some deeper scratches also present, but could be worse.
Overall I seen worse but dial would put me off.

Would you ware an Ed White a few times a week or is it more for special occasions?

For the price the one for sale by @Kali77 on the private watch sales is a more original and nicer example.

This looks pretty shiny and the dial has a few too many marks for me.
