Awesome! So now we should have a working solution for the Ti Speedy 9300. I will try to order the parts from a local AD this week!

Also, thanks again Archer! 馃榾

Will you be doing the mod by yourself?
Cheers

Keep us posted please, I look forward to seeing the final product and hearing your experiences.
Yes - i will post my findings and some pics here. My guess is that we are looking at at least a month backorder though.

Yes, but if everything works out it should be fairly simpel i suppose.

Just make sure the screw driver has the right size.

Sorry for the late reply. I initially went to an AD that was not willing to help me for some reason because i did not have the watch that the parts originally belong to. Then went on vacation for 4 weeks and today went by another AD on the advice of a fellow member, which was very helpfull! 馃榾The parts are ordered and should be there in 3 weeks. I will post an update again afterwards. Can't wait... The current lack of a good fit is really taking away the pleasure of wearing this gorgeous watch..

Finally got all the parts in today and just did the mod and I can confirm that we now have a working solution for the Titanium Speedmaster 9300! I am extremely happy with it! 馃榾 Thanks for all the support on the part numbers.

It is dark now, will make some pics tomorrow.

Hi folks,

Resurrecting this thread to see if anyone with a straight-ahead Speedy Pro has performed this mod to the bracelet? If so, I'd love to see a picture of what it looks like on-wrist (and possibly including your wrist size).

Cheers!

The OB not only ordered the clasp and endlinks for my speedy, but they installed them as well. No void to warrenty and no games from the boutique. Great service and a great company.

So I called the OB today to see about doing the same mod on my 3594.50. Apparently the word is out. Omega sent an email to it's OBs saying it frowns on doing this. They can still order you the parts, but will not install them per "head office".

Its easy enough to fit. I fitted a titanium clasp bought from ebay for my xl PO 2016 and fitted perfectly. No issues whatsoever. Maybe Omega needs to think about improving its watches by installing them automatically!

So just be be absolutely sure, if I wanted to do this to my 45.5 PO 8500, I would need order the 117STZ001154 clasp and I would NOT need to order any end links, right? Based on what I鈥檝e read here, it seems to be the case. It wasn鈥檛 entirely clear for the 45.5 (or maybe I missed something) Thanks for any help

If I recall correctly, I was able to screw the Ti version (117TIZ001151) of the clasp directly to my Planet Ocean 9300 45.5mm watch bracelet, without any extra links, but for my 42mm Ti Planet Ocean 8500 I think I also needed the clasp-links (or saddle-links) from the Ti MC300.

I'll check my records, but I'm 99.3% sure this is right.

That鈥檚 interesting, I didn鈥檛 realize the PO bracelet changed from the 8500 to the 9300. Maybe I should just order the links to be safe.... thanks for your comment

I think, and someone correct me here, that the MC300 has 21mm lugs and the bracelet tapers to 20mm to mate the 1154 clasp, while the 9300 has 22mm lugs and the bracelet also tapers to 20mm, but the Planet Ocean 8500 has 20mm lugs and the bracelet tapers to 18mm.

Well my 45.5mm 8500 has the same bracelet dimensions as your 9300. 22 tapering to 20. But maybe the bracelet design changed between generations, and maybe that鈥檚 why the 8500 needs extra links to accommodate the adjustable clasp. Although, they look pretty similar to me

But I said my Planet Ocean was a 42mm, that's why it's different.

Oh, did you use the same clasp for both watches? I just assumed the 42 would be put on a smaller clasp. If they are the same clasp, then it makes sense for the 42 to require extra links. So I think i will be fine with just ordering the clasp. Thanks

Here's a link to where myself and a few others used the 1154 clasp. It works fine without end links. I'm sure the titanium version will be the same.
