New Planet Ocean clasp rattle

New Omega Planet Ocean 43.5mm bought from AD. I love the watch and everything about it. The only thing I noticed was the rattle at the diver's extension. I believe this is normal but I thought I double check.
Even when I wear it and tap on the top of the clasp, it rattles.

In the video, you will notice some horizontal and vertical play around the pin. Not a big deal if it's normal, but if not, I will have AD look at it. Thanks in advance

I heard it go click when you closed it, but that's about it. Might be a "me" thing.

There's definitely a lot of play and rattle with that extension. When it's closed, should feel solid. Tapping on the clasp shouldn't make any clicking sound. My gut says something could be bent in the clasp which is causing this. Personally, would drop by the AD and check a few other watches out to compare and have them look at it.

So I called my AD, sent the video, and they've checked several POs they had in stock. They all do the same thing. They said Omega left some play in the diver's extension on purpose to minimize wear and maximize longevity.

That's really surprising since my old Seamaster clasp had the diver's extension and it was a tight fit/click. Never had an issue with wear/longevity. The clicking when the clasp is closed would drive me bonkers.

Might look into the clasp I got for my Great White GMT which adjusts but isn't a diver's style extension. It was for a 20mm bracelet. Currently on a cruise, so can look when I get back.

So I was playing with it a bit more, and it looks like I did not close the bottom part of the extension clasp properly, and that is what was making that noise when closed. It is much better, but it is still not silent. To me it sounds normal, but I just wanted to make sure mine is not the only one. These are hard to come by locally to test against.
Curious to hear what you find out.
